مقدمه: طب مکمل و جایگزین شامل عملکردهایی است که به طور متعارف در سیستم مراقبت‌های بهداشتی غالب ادغام نشده است. لذا به دلیل اقبال فراوان به آن، این مطالعه با هدف بررسی کاربرد انواع طب مکمل و جایگزین در زنان باردار مراجعه کننده به مراکز بهداشتی درمانی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی کرمان در سال 1402 انجام شد.
روش کار: در این مطالعه توصیفی مقطعی 226 مادر باردار دارای پرونده بارداری در سامانه سیب از 54 مرکز بهداشتی درمانی در چهار منطقه جغرافیایی شهر کرمان به صورت تصادفی ساده انتخاب و پس از کسب رضایتنامه آگاهانه، اطلاعات توسط پرسشنامه شامل اطلاعات جمعیت شناختی، نحوه، فراوانی، کاربرد، دلایل استفاده و اثربخشی طب مکمل و جایگزین جمع آوری و توسط نرم افزار SPSSV23 تجزیه و تحلیل شدند. برای توصیف متغیرهای کیفی از تعداد و درصد فراوانی و جهت بررسی همزمان ارتباط مشخصات جمعیت شناختی و استفاده از طب مکمل و جایگزین از رگرسیون لجستیک استفاده شد.
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد بیش از 80 درصد زنان باردار (189 نفر) از طب مکمل استفاده و بیش از 40 درصد (93 نفر) میزان تاثیرگذاری را زیاد گزارش کرده و بیش از 80 درصد (160 نفر) نیز حداقل یک روش را به کار برده بودند. بیشترین فراوانی استفاده، بخش گیاهان دارویی بود. بالغ بر 78 درصد (178 نفر) بدون مشورت پزشک از طب مکمل استفاده و شایع‌ترین دلیل استفاده، بی خطر بودن و عوارض کمتر گزارش شد. بیشترین فراوانی روش آشنایی با طب مکمل، از طریق خانواده، دوستان و آشنایان (93/65 درصد، 149 نفر) و کمترین، متخصصان و مراقبین سلامت بود (20/6 درصد، 14 نفر). بین هفته بارداری و استفاده از طب مکمل نیز ارتباط معنی داری مشاهده شد (05/0 P<).
نتیجه گیری: با توجه به خاستگاه طب مکمل و جایگزین در میان زنان باردار و تاثیرات بالقوه آن، پیشنهاد می‌گردد توصیه‌های در رابطه با استفاده از طب مکمل و جایگزین توسط مراقبین آموزش دیده ارائه شده و در این خصوص به تفاوت‌های فردی مادران باردار توجه بیشتری گردد.
