Aims & Scop


CMJ aims at publishing validated, relevant and accurate research articles focused on the main goal of promoting the health of the community. The journal believes that promoting and maintaining health should be provided on the basis of clinical judgment and evidence on what is safe and effective and in combination with conventional and complementary treatments. CMJ focuses on the study of alternative and complementary medicine, especially Asian and Iranian medicine, and their impact on health as well as their biological mechanisms. Therefore, basic and clinical studies on Asian medicine, traditional Iranian medicine and complementary therapeutic and herbal treatments are the subject of this journal. CMJ has publishes articles in the form of original articles, case reports, letters to the editor, short reports, systematic reviews and qualitative research on complementary medicine.
