This study has been done aiming the analysis of the effect of group hope therapy (Snyder`s group hope therapy together with hope in Islam) on life quality of the burnt patients. Methods: The survey was clinical trial that has been done based on the convenient sampling method. Samples were selected among sever burn-patients(25-60%) who referred Emam Mousa Kazem Hospital(2015) .After getting the consent , the participators were categorized into experimental and control groups with 25 in each group. The experimental group received the program in 8 sessions-2 hours and the control group received routine interventions .The demographic checklist and a unique questionnaire of life quality of burn patients (Burn Specific Health Scale) which had been used before, right after, and one month after the remedial intervention were collected, and analyzed by the use of SPSS software, Version 16. Chi-Square statistical tests, covariance analysis and T- test. Result: As the redults show, before the intervention, there was not any significant difference between the mean score of the life quality between two groups (p= 0.37). Right after the intervention (P < 0.001) and also one month after the intervention in experimental group (179± 9/5) is significantly more than the control group (15± 14/4). Also testing the frequent variance analysis show that its effectiveness stayed the same after a month, so there was no significant statistical difference between “right after” and “a month after” the intervention (p=0.38) Conclusion: Hope-therapy program can cause improving the life quality of for burn patients and other ones affected to the chronic diseases.
