Therfore, the purpose of this study was to determine effects of long-term dill extract supplementation alone and along with regular aerobic training on some of inflammatory indices in serum of hyperlipidemic male's patients. Methods: 60 of hyperlipidemic male's patients (in the age range between 20-50 years old and body mass index between 30-35 kg.m2) after completing consent forms in a quasi-experimental design were divided into 4 homogeneous groups which 15 subjects in each groups including; Placebo (P), Aerobic Training (AT), Dill extract (D) and aerobic training along with dill extract (AT+D). With the exercise protocol (3 sessions per week, 45 minutes running on a treadmill at a zero-degree gradient with an intensity of 60-70% of the heart rate reserve in each session), the Dillsan oral droplet (2 mg.kg-1 per day of dill extract) was administered for 8 weeks. Blood samples were taken and collected in two phases (48 hours before and after the last training session). Data were analyzed by repeated measure ANOVA, bonferroni and independent T test at α≤0.05. Results: The results showed, that serum levels of CRP and MDA only in the combination group -AT+D- (2.68 mg.l and 2.61 nm.ml respectively) that a significantly reduced (P=0/03). However, decrease in CRP: 2.91 and 2.83 mg.l & MDA: 3.12 and 3.01 nm.ml respectively in the other experimental groups (AT and D) was not significantly meaningful (P>0/05). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, we can concluded that the combination effects of regular aerobic training and dill extract supplementation, because of additional effects compared to treatment with dill extract supplementation and aerobic training alone, is more effective methods to decrease in inflammatory factors. %> http://cmja.arakmu.ac.ir/article-1-518-en.pdf %P 2063-2075 %& 2063 %! %9 Research %L A-10-460-4 %+ Nutrition Research Center; Faculty of Nutrition, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences %G eng %@ 2228-5091 %[ 2018
