Introduction & Aim: Hope is a complex, multi-dimensional and powerful potential for improvement and consistency helps the patient's physiological and emotional condition to withstand crisis Prayer and mentioning as two separate methods of spiritual care. This study was designed to com pare two methods of of prayer and mentioning on life epectancy in patients hospitilization in CCU Ward Social Security Golestan Hospitals in 1393. Method: experimental study was performed on prayer groups (n=30), mentioning (n=30) and control group (n=30). Intervention was performed in Prayer and mentioning group, Then each three group were compared. The questionnaire was Synder Life Expectancy Scale. results were analyzed statistically by SPSS16. Results: Statistical analysis showed a significant difference between three groups, the most great life expectancy was found in the mentioning group (P<0.05). Conclusion: It seems that the spiritual experience along with other therapies will have a good effect. Can be used as an adjunct therapy along with other treatments and palliative care, according to the guidelines in the treatment of religious and spiritual care to be defined as a guide.
